Almost ten years ago I was invted to create a set of memorial graphics for 9-11. It was an event that moved me deeply and I was only too happy to help.
The designs were used a lot if I remember. If it kept the spirit of solidarity with the families of those taken in the events of that day alive then they had a use.
Ten years on I feel no different. Since I was a kid the firemen of New York City were heroes in a way that I’ve never really been able to fathom. And that so many of their number lost their lives while racing to help others, that gets to the heart of the tragedy for me.
So looking at these ten year old designs I wanted to bring them back into the public eye as the site that originally hosted them has long gone.
